Music for a Sunday in Tuxedo Park

    The Malkin Duo will perform at St. Mary’s-in-Tuxedo Tuxedo Park - The Malkin Duo will present a concert with works for two violins and piano by Bach, Mozart, Vivaldi, Goddard, Schubert and Sarasate on Sunday, Jan. 28, at 4 p.m. at St. Mary’s-in-Tuxedo, Fox Hill Road, Tuxedo Park. Anat and Bracha Malkin have won numerous national and international competitions and have performed at Carnegie Hall as well as with numerous prestigious orchestras as solo or featured violinists. They will be accompanied on piano by Eduard Laurel. With its original stained glass windows and beamed ceilings still in place, the nearly 120 year-old stone and timber St. Mary’s-in-Tuxedo offers a lovely venue to experience this beautiful performance. The Tuxedo Performing Arts Group, a not-for-profit organization, is arranging this presentation as part of its program of four concerts a year in varying styles and differing venues within the community.
