Cornwall-on-hudson — The Hudson Highlands Nature Museum, in partnership the Cornwall Presbyterian Church, presents its Fall Evening Speakers Series: “The Environment and Your Health.” This lecture will take place on Tuesday, Oct. 25, 7:30 p.m. at the Cornwall Presbyterian Fellowship Hall, 222 Hudson St., Cornwall-on-Hudson. Join Dr. Mary C. Pearl, an internationally known conservationist, scientist and educator to learn about the many ways that wildlife and other aspects of nature can impact human health. Pearl’s former leadership positions at Stony Brook University, South Hampton and the Wildlife Trust have given her a deep understanding of ecosystems. This program is funded, in part, by the New York Council for the Humanities. For more information call 845-534-5506, ext. 204. Visit the museum’s Web site Refreshments available.
