Museum Village will host three jewelry-making workshops

Monroe — A series of three jewelry making classes will be held at Museum Village on Wednesdays Aug. 24, Aug. 31 and Sept. 7 from 7-9 p.m. The classes will include design, wire work, bead and clasp selection, necklace and bracelet construction, earrings, wrapped loops, crimping and beaded barrettes. Classes will be led by Michele Dixler, who has an art education degree from City University. The fee for the three classes is $90, which covers the cost of all tools and materials.
