Museum to present parenting workshop

Cornwall — The Museum of the Hudson Highlands Parenting Workshop Series presents "You Are Your Child’s First Teacher — Providing Learning Opportunities in Your Own Backyard," at the Museum’s Kenridge Farm location, Route 9W, Cornwall, on Wednesday, Oct. 25, at 7:30 p.m. Sandy Dixon, head teacher, Young Naturalists Pre-K program, will lead an interactive workshop designed to encourage and support parents as they deal with the challenges of parenting young children in today’s consumer society.
