Multi-cultural arts group presents Jubilee's Journey'
Sugar Loaf Jubilee Dance School will offer “Jubilee’s Journey: A Play on Dance,” on Sunday, May 21, at the Pavilion at the Lycian Centre on King’s Highway in Sugar Loaf. Two performances will be offered, at 2 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. “Jubilee’s Journey” is a multi-cultural life journey, which begins in the Latin Caribbean, and moves to New York and abroad, in pursuit of the heart and passion of dance. The event will feature the talents of the instructors and choreographers at Jubilee, as well as the dancers and students who have worked all year to put the presentation together. It will depict an array of cultural and modern dances, as well as collaboration with other artists and dance professionals in the area. Jubilee Enterprises was created to introduce and host dancers, artists and musicians, and provide education in both traditional and contemporary multi-cultural and Latino art forms. Jubilee offers dance instructions for children through adults, and a Latin Jubilee Radio Show every Saturday on WTBQ AM1110 with host Judy Battista. Tickets are $12 for adults, and $8 for children under 12. For reservations or more information, visit www.jubileepresents.com, write to jubilee@jubileepresents.com, or call 914-489-7402.
