Library announces Guess the Ending contest’ to last Harry Potter novel Monroe - The Monroe Free Library is sponsoring a writing contest in honor of J.K Rowling’s much anticipated final installment of the Harry Potter series, “The Deathly Hollows.” The contest begins June 25 and runs through July 14. Winners will be announced July 20, around the time the book is due in stores. The notion behind the contest is to anticipate how J.K. Rowling will end her story. There will be three winners from those who come the closest. First prize will be a copy of “The Deathly Hollows.” Second prize will be a Harry Potter doll and third prize will be movie tickets. In addition to its contest, the library has created a Harry Potter portal site that includes links to information such as the official Harry Potter site, games, downloads and all kinds of other info geared toward Harry Potter fans.
