Moonligh gala slated for Sept. 18

    Warwick-It's not too late to join with friends and neighbors for an evening of dinner, dancing and raising money for the Albert Wisner Public Library at the Friends of the Library 2nd annual Moonlight Over Warwick Gala Dinner Dance and Silent Auction. The gala, a success last year, raised over $5,000 for the library's new building fund. This year's event is set for 6:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 18, at the Hickory Hill Golf Club The Friends have planned this event to be even more fun than last year's. For $50 a person, attendees can enjoy a cocktail hour, followed by a sit down dinner including a choice of stuffed chicken, prime rib, or flounder stuffed with crabmeat. Dinner also includes salad, vegetable, potato, rolls, open bar, coffee and dessert. Musical entertainment will be provided by "Loose Caboose" Besides dining and dancing attendees will have the opportunity to bid on donated items in a silent auction. Some of the items up for bid this year include antique dinnerware, handmade jewelry, art pieces, sky diving, yoga lessons, dancing lessons, pilates workout and gift baskets from area merchants.
