Monroe 'The Fox on the Fairway' opens July 6

The Playhouse at Museum Village continues its 24th season with “The Fox on the Fairway,” a comedy-farce written by Ken Ludwig.
Mistaken identities and over-the-top romantic shenanigans are part of this mad-cap adventure set at a stuffy country club. You don’t have to love golf to love this furiously paced comedy about how far arch rivals will go to win the annual inter-club tournament.
A tribute from Ken Ludwig to the great English farces of the 1930s and 1940s, “The Fox on the Fairway” takes audiences on a hilarious romp, which pulls the rug out from underneath the stuffy denizens of a private country club.
Performances are scheduled for July 6, 12, 13, 18, 19 and 20 at 8 p.m., and on Sundays, July 7, 14 and 21 at 3 p.m.
All performances are at The Playhouse at Museum Village, Route 17M, in Monroe. The production is directed by Terri Weiss.
Tickets to individual performances are $25 each, which includes dessert at intermission consisting of apple pie, ice cream, cheese, iced tea and coffee.
Group rates are available and reservations are suggested.
