Monroe Temple hosts Festival of Flavors on April 22

MONROE The Monroe Temple of Liberal Judaism will hold a Festival of Flavors on Sunday, April 22, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Temple which is located 314 North Main St. in Monroe.
This culinary event will include a variety of foods from different cultures, including French, Spanish, Mexican, Asian and Hungarian among others.
Those attending will be able to get a taste from each chefs cooking station. In addition to indoor culinary delights, there will be Grill Masters working outdoors to prepare BBQ and other grilled favorites.
Chef and caterer Ed Fava, from Ed Favas Catering Service, also will bring his unique style of cuisine.
Food will be Kosher-style, with several delicious vegetarian choices for those keeping Kosher. The dining experience will include a dessert station to satisfy any sweet tooth. There will be a cash bar with wine and beer for sale.
The festival is a family event; cost is $25 for each adult and $10 for children six and older. Children under six eat for free.
No tickets will be sold at the door. Pre-payment for tickets is necessary to ensure that everyone will have a space reserved because the cooks will prepare for the number of tickets sold.
There will be live music and family fun entertainment, to include balloon sculpture and magic tricks for all ages. The festival is open to the entire Orange County community.
Tickets can be purchased at the temple. Payment can be made using Credit card, check or cash.
