MONROE-The following programs are sponsored by the Monroe Joint Park and Recreation Commission: • Registration for Saturday Morning Playgroup, Smith's Clove Park. For toddlers 3-4, potty trained a must. Program begins Feb. 5. Class time: 10 - 11:30 a.m. Call 783-9108 to register or get more information. • Monroe Ski Nights at Sterling Forest Ski Center, Tuxedo, Saturdays, Jan. 22 and Feb. 26, from 5 - 10 p.m. Group discounts for those showing proof of residency. Call ski center for more information, 351-2163. • Monroe Ski Day at Mount Peter, Warwick. Sunday, Feb. 13, from 8:30 a.m. - 5 p.m. Group discounts apply for those showing proof of residency. Call ski center for more information, 986-4940. • Ice Skating at the Pond at Smith's Clove Park. Every Saturday in February. Times TBA. Weather permitting; only when green flag flies.
