Monroe Historical Society will celebrate Abraham Lincoln's life through pictures

Monroe — Paul Ellis-Graham, a member of the Monroe-Woodbury High School faculty, past president of the Monroe Historical Society and current president of the Lincoln Group of New York, will be giving a talk entitled, “Abraham Lincoln, His life in Pictures” at the Monroe Historical Society meeting on Saturday, Feb. 11. Ellis-Graham will use images of old Brady photographs and political cartoons to tell the Lincoln story as the society remembers the 150th anniversary of the Civil War. The meeting begins at 10 a.m. in the upper level of the Monroe Senior Center located 101 Mine Road. The discussion is free and open to the public.
