Monroe Democrats host fund raisers

Monroe — The Monroe Democratic Committee will host a candidates fund raiser at 8 p.m. on Sept. 28 at the Museum Village Playhouse on Route 17M in Monroe. Admission is $20, and includes seeing “Damn Yankees,” dessert and coffee. Call 988-7835 for tickets. The committee will host a candidates fund raiser from 6-9 p.m. on Oct. 9, at the Velvet Monkey restaurant on Millpond Road in downtown Monroe. $40 a person, $75 a couple. The committee will host a candidates fund raiser “Bowling Bonanza” on Oct. 15 from noon-2 p.m. at the Colonial Lanes in Chester.
