Warwick — On Friday, May 5, at the Warwick Valley High School, “Momsense” will be performed by four mothers from Manhattan, who have decided to take their show on the road. The musical comedy, about the trials and tribulations of motherhood, raises money for worthy organizations. Winslow Therapeutic Center and the Warwick Future Farmers of America will be the recipients of the funds raised by this performance. They say laughter is good for your health. Apparently, when we laugh, the natural killer cells which destroy tumors and viruses increase. As well as lowering blood pressure, laughter increases oxygen in the blood, which also encourages healing, states the Discovery Health Web site. For more laughter information, and more reasons to attend the show, visit www.helpguide.org/life/humor_laughter_health.htm. Tickets are $20 in advance, and $25 at the door. Doors will open at 7 p.m., and the show will start at 8 p.m. Seating is limited. Refreshments will be available. For reservations, call 986-6686.
