The next Music in Central Valley concert, on Sunday, April 30, at 3 p.m., at Central Valley United Methodist Church, is titled Mixed Ensembles: Music for Clarinet, Cello and Piano, and will feature clarinetist Susan Martula (pictured here), cellist Amy Sue Barston and pianist Janice Nimetz. They will play works by Bach, Bazelaire, Schumann, Muczynski, Silverman, along with the Trio for Clarinet, Cello, and Piano, Op. 1 14, by Brahms. (Photo provided by Janice Nimetz)
