WARWICK-The Warwick Valley Middle School Drama Club will present an evening of song on Saturday, Nov. 5, at 7 p.m., featuring performances from all past Middle School musicals. The dessert cabaret will take place in the Middle School Cafeteria and will spotlight several WVMS Drama Club alumni reprising their roles from musicals including Sound of Music, Brigadoon, Bye Bye Birdie, Fiddler on the Roof, Anything Goes and Seussical. Eliza Mack, a sophomore majoring in experimental theatre at NYU, will return as Maria von Trapp to open the evening. Jonathan Henry, a freshman film major, also will be returning as Tommy in Brigadoon. Dan Lapidus, in his role as the Cat in the Hat from last year’s Seussical, will emcee the evening. Students from the High School who have all gone on to roles in WVHS musical productions will come back to Middle School for this fund raising event. Tickets for the cabaret are available for $5 general admission. Requests for tickets can be made through the Middle School office.
