Warwick - The Mid-Hudson Chapter of the Embroiderers’ Guild of America, which will celebrate its 31st anniversary, will display the work of its members, give out information about the Guild and host a boutique table at Applefest this coming Oct. 1 in Warwick. The chapter was inaugurated in 1975 with members from many towns up and down the Hudson Valley. The purpose of the Guild was to foster the highest standards in the practice and study of the art of embroidery and to share this knowledge. The chapter meets the first Wednesday of each month at the Hamptonburgh Town Hall in Campbell Hall. Visitors and new members are welcomed. For information, contact Cathy at 845-856-5547.
