Meet the Authors



WARWICK — This October the Albert Wisner Public Library is hosting several “Meet the Author” events.
The community is invited to spend an hour with an author and hear them introduce their new book in their own words.
Each event will include a short reading by the author followed by a discussion and a book signing.
Copies of the book will be available for purchase.

"I Love You Goodbye - How To Rid Your Life of Toxic Relatives and Friends Without Using Harmful Pesticides" by Taylor Sterling
Spend an hour with the author and learn her techniques which could transform your life. This unique self-help book is written with a witty sense of humor and offers easy-to-implement strategies for creating a life filled with positive relationships.

"High Breese Farm: the Lore of Luther Barrett" by Robert Fletcher
Artist and author Robert Fletcher of New Milford will give a brief introduction to his new book about the farming legacy of High Breeze Farm at Wawayanda Park.
Through sketches, paintings and the preserved stories of Luther Barrett the family sustainable and self sufficient lifestyle are presented for today.
Original artwork from the book will also be on display.

"Catechism of a Disconnected Catholic" by Jude Roche
Warwick resident Jude Roche writes about what it was like growing up as a Catholic girl and surviving 90 years of being one.
In narrative and verse, she describes, with wit and with reverence, the evolution of a disconnected Catholic.
Whether one is Catholic, has been Catholic, or ever wondered what it would be like to be Catholic, the Catechism is for everyone.

"Save Send Delete" by Danusha Goska
Danusha Goska is a New Jersey teacher and writer. Her work has appeared in anthologies including "The Impossible Will Take a Little While."
Her new book, "Save Send Delete", tells the true story of a debate about God and a love affair she shared with a celebrity atheist.
Oct. 30 at 6 p.m.
"Now You Tell Me! 12 College Students Give the Best Advice They Never Got" by Anya Settle
Twelve college students from all walks of life and different types of colleges and universities share the insider knowledge that isn’t in the school catalog: what made it work for them.
This book is authored by Warwick graduate Anya Settle will sign copies.
Open to students and parents.
