Master Gardener Volunteer training begins in September

    Middletown — Cornell Cooperative Extension of Orange County, in Middletown, will be offering an extensive 15-week Master Gardener Volunteer training program, beginning in September of 2007. Students will learn horticulture and gardening-related topics from Cornell University faculty and the experts in Orange County. In exchange for this training, students will provide volunteer hours in the Master Gardener Volunteer program. Those who enjoy learning, teaching others what they have learned, and helping their community, are urged to apply. Applications are now being accepted for the program. The $250 training fee includes materials.
