Mark Gargiulo sings Handel at West Point

Mark Gargiulo of Goshen returns as the baritone soloist for the 47th annual presentation of Handel’s “Messiah” at the West Point Cadet Chapel on the campus of the United State Military Academy this Sunday, Dec. 4, at 3 p.m. Gargiulo, the winner of the Luciano Pavarotti International Voice Competition, made his Carnegie Hall debut in 1995 singing Bach’s “Magnificat.” He’s performed locally with the West Point Band, the Warwick Valley Chorale and the Hudson Valley Philharmonic, among others. The concert is free. Choir rehearsal at 1:45 p.m. includes seat assignments.
