— The Third Generation Summer Theatre will be performing an original musical entitled "The Third Son," on Thursday, July 10, at St. Stephen-St. Edward School. The musical was written and directed by Benjamin Yates of Warwick, a graduate of John S. Burke Catholic High School. The show will be performed at 8 p.m. Admission is free.

This will be the first production by Third Generation Summer Theatre. This specific, intensive workshop consisted of two and a half weeks of rehearsing where young adults can enhance their acting and singing skills - all while putting together an original musical.

The story follows the lesser known third son of Adam and Eve as he embarks on a journey to reunite with his troubled brother. The characters discover the importance of love, friendship, and forgiveness just before the end of the world as they know it.

This musical comedy is appropriate for all ages. The original cast, show here from left, includes Greg DiPaul, Nick Arena, Michelle Lenzi, Megan Gill, Joseph Colon, Darren Blot, Andrea Wynn, and Chase McFarlane.

This organization was founded by Yates to foster the need for children's theater, and how important it can be to the growth, love, and excitement of theater.
