Lions Club sponsors carnival, flea market and craft show
Greenwood Lake The Greenwood Lake Lions Club will sponsor a Carnival, Garage Sale, and Flea Market & Craft Show during the Memorial Day Weekend, from Thursday, May 25, to Monday, May 29. The event will be held, rain or shine. Opening day of the carnival will offer a special $15 wristband, pay one price and ride all night, from 6 to 10 p.m. on Thursday, May 25. The carnival will continue, with tickets sold at the booth, from 6 to 10 p.m. on Friday, May 26, from 2 to 11 p.m. on Saturday, May 27, from 4 to 11 p.m. on Sunday, May 28, and from 2 to 8 p.m. on Monday, May 29. The garage sale will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, for garage sale items only. For garage sale contracts, at $10 per space, call 595-6163. A flea market and craft show will be held from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday. For flea market contracts, at $25 per space, or $30 for a corner space and walk ins, call 477-9378. For food vendors, the fee is $100 per space. Fingerprinting will be offered by Greenwood Lake Police Department, a free blood pressure clinic will be run by Greenwood Lake Volunteer Ambulance, and the Sheriff’s department will offer a K-9 demonstration. Contracts will be available at the Greenwood Lake Library as well.
