Warwick — The Warwick Lions Club will sponsor its 44th Annual Golf Outing on Monday, May 15, at the Warwick Valley Country Club. A continental breakfast will be served from 8 to 8:45 a.m., with a shotgun start at 9 a.m. The third tee will offer golfers steamed shrimp, a raw clam bar, and choice of beer or soda. At the end of the tournament, golfers will be served a buffet dinner, with a beef carving station. The event is known for great prizes, hole in one competitions, and an abundance of food, drink, and fun. The cost is $130 per golfer, or $110 for members of the Warwick Valley Country Club. Tee and green sponsorships are also available for $75 each. The Lions motto is “We Serve.” Proceeds from the golf outing help them serve the sight and hearing impaired, both locally and globally.
