WARWICK — On Thursday, Nov. 21, at 6:30 p.m., the Albert Wisner Public library will present "Solved! Curing Your Medical Insurance Problems" with Adria Gross.
Too often consumers find themselves paying much more money than they expected from medical care and getting less than they bargained for.
Among the topics included in the program are:
• The importance of knowing patient rights;
• Understanding your health insurance policy;
• Comparing prices and procedures;
• Ascertaining whether procedures are necessary; and
• Options for uninsured and underinsured patients.

As a medical insurance advocate, she is the expert liaison between patients, providers, and insurance carriers to resolve billing issues, lien claims, insurance pre-authorizations, denials, and medical letters of appeal.
