WARWICK — Albert Wisner Public Library will honor Veterans of the Korean Conflict during November.

The library plans create a display the pictures of men and women from the community who served in the military in tribute to their service.

The public is invited to submit photos of themselves or of their friends and relatives who served in Korea.

To participate, bring a photo of the service person in uniform and a completed display form to Kathleen Georgalas at the library. Photos will be scanned and returned in person.

Forms are available on line at www.albertwisnerlibrary.org or at the library. For additional information or questions, call 986-1047 ext. 5 or e-mail kgeorgal@rcls.org.

In the press release announcing the program, Georgalas wrote: “The Library is hopeful that many in the community will participate to make this display representative of those who answered their country’s call to service during the Korean Conflict.”
