Library offers free passes to area museums

The Goshen Public Library and Historical Society invites its patrons to take advantage of its free museum pass program to visit places like the New York Botanical Garden in the Bronx. Museum passes can be checked out by Goshen Public Library and Historical Society patrons, age 18 and older and in good standing. Museum passes circulate for three days, and often allow free admission for an entire family. A $5 per day late fee will be assessed. Passes are available for these local and New York City-area museums: the American Museum of Natural History; the Children’s Museum of Manhattan; the Harness Racing Museum and Hall of Fame, in Goshen; the Hudson Highlands Nature Museum; the Metropolitan Museum of Art; Museum Village in Monroe; the New York City Fire Museum in Manhattan; the New York Historical Society in Manhattan; and the Paley Center for Media in Manhattan.
