Library offers free computer classes for adults
Goshen Bothered by bytes? Miffed with your mouse? Eager to e-mail? Intrigued by the Internet? If so, conquer your computer and Internet fears in a series of free computer classes offered at the Goshen Public Library by Ken Herbig of the Rockland PC Users Group. Computer 201 covers everything from directories, folders and files to installing programs for intermediate computer users. Computer 201 is offered in two sessions - 6:30-7:45 p.m. Tuesday, April 29 and Thursday, May 1 in the Library Meeting Room. Registration is limited to 13 adults. (Participants must register for both sessions.) Computer 101 is designed for first-time users. Learn how to use a mouse and how a computer operates. Basic Bytes is offered in three sessions - 6:30-7:45 p.m. Tuesdays, May 20 and 27 and June 3 in the Library Meeting Room. Registration is limited to 13 adults. (Participants must register for all three sessions.) Photo Editing will show users how to save, organize and re-size photos, as well as create personalized slide shows and screensavers of favorite images.
