WARWICK — Come to the Albert Wisner Public Library on Saturday, April 6 at 10 a.m. for “First Lessons in Honey Beekeeping.”
The Southeastern Beekeepers’ Club will present this introduction to the joys and rewards of beekeeping. All the basics will be covered by Les Blum and Brian Fitzsimmons, both experienced beekeepers and members of the club.
Learn about the equipment needed, when and where to start, bee pastures and more. An observation hive may be available for viewing if the weather is mild.
There also will be an opportunity for active beekeepers to exchange ideas and information.
