Library hosts dramatic reading of author’s new play

WARWICK — Albert Wisner Public Library will present a dramatic reading of local author, poet and playwright Donna Spector’s new play, “Manhattan Transits,” on Friday, Sept. 28, at 6:30 p.m.
Loosely based on a New York Times Magazine article and the Demeter-Persephone myth, this play deals with homelessness in New York City. A tragedy, with some comic relief, this play was presented this August at the Women Playwrights International Conference in Stockholm, Sweden.
