— On Friday, July 13, grab your partner and Do-si-do on over to the Albert Wisner Public Library for an evening of square dancing on the patio.
Pat Cannon, director of Foot and Fiddle Dance Company for more than 30 years, will teach square dance and country line dance with a minimum of confusion and a maximum of fun. Getting people dancing is what she does.
The whole family is welcome. Bring a picnic dinner to enjoy before the dancing begins. Here's the schedule:
6 p.m.: Picnic on the grass.
7 p.m.: The dancing begins.
Music from McFarlandThe Community Square Dance is the first event of this season’s Music from McFarland, the AWPL Foundation Summer Concert series made possible with a gift from Glenn P. and Susan D. Dickes.
