Library honors Vietnam-era veterans

WARWICK — The Albert Wisner Public Library on McFarland Drive in the Village of Warwick now has a display case in the lower level honoring local veterans of the Vietnam War era.
The display includes photos of the veterans at the time of their service as well as medals and memorabilia. Also several veterans have written personal stories and reflections about their experience.
The library has scheduled a Vietnam Vet meet-up for Sunday, Dec. 8, from 1 to 3 p.m., which is open to all veterans of that era and their friends and family members.
Everyone is encouraged to visit the library and view the display.
