Leisure Services to host vendors' showcase

Thiells — The Hudson Valley Leisure Services Association will host a Vendors’ Showcase on Thursday, Jan. 24, 9 to 11 a.m., at the Hudson Valley DDSO, 5 Wilbur Road, Thiells. At 11 a.m., the association will hold its membership meeting and a brunch, followed by short presentations by each participating vendor. There will also be raffles for prizes. After the vendors’ presentations, Mark Lukens, associate director at Camp Venture, Inc. will speak on “Conflict Resolution in the Workplace.” HVLSA members will pay $15 to attend; non-members, $20. Reservations are required and can be made by calling Paula Gorton at 457-4902. The association is a membership organization for professionals from the municipal, commercial and therapeutic sectors of the leisure industry in Orange, Rockland, Sullivan, Ulster, Dutchess, and Putnam Counties.
