MONTGOMERY — Rich Sullivan, the beekeeper at the Orange County Arboretum, will talk about getting started keeping bees on Saturday, Feb. 9., at 1 p.m.
He will also explain what equipment is required, all about the kinds and sources of bees to acquire for your startup as well as questions you have from a very experienced and knowledgeable bee expert.
People who are already keeping bees can benefit from coming to hear Sullivan speak.
Cost is $10 and preregistration is required by calling 845-615-3828.
The Orange County Arboretum is located in the county's Thomas Bull Memorial Park in Hamptonburgh.
