Last concert of the season at Pacem in Terris set for Sunday

Warwick - The Loma Mar Quartet - featuring Krista Bennion Feeney, Anca Nicolau, Joanna Hood and Myron Lutzke with John Feeney on bass will perform Sunday, Sept. 17 at 5 p.m. in the last concert of the season at Pacem in Terris. The program will be dedicated to the late Frederick Franck, who started these concerts at Pacem in Terris many years ago. The performance will include: “August 6th for violin and double-bass” by Shinji Eshima, to be performed by Feeney on violin and Feeney on bass. “Quartet for two violins, cello and bass, HOB II: C 5” by Joseph Haydn. “Angelus! Prayer to Guardian Angels” for string quintet by Franz Liszt. “Adagio” from Franz Schubert’s String Quintet in C Major. “Divertimento in D, KV 136,” Mozart. Pacem in Terris is a not-for-profit organization located at 96 Covered Bridge Road in Warwick. There are no reservations; tickets go on sale at 4 p.m. with a suggested donation of $8.
