MIDDLETOWN — Take an early evening stroll through the fields and forests of Moonbeams Preserve, Orange County Land Trust’s 150-acre conserved property in the Town of Wallkill.
Volunteer guide and naturalist Gary Keeton will lead participants on this mellow nature walk as the sun begins to set over Moonbeams Preserve on the Shawangunk Kill.
The walk is relatively easy; terrain is primarily flat with some rolling hills. Bring water and consider tick-protection measures. Participants should wear long pants and closed-toe footwear.
• The preserve is located at 219 Prosperous Valley Road, Middletown.
• A donation of $5 per-person is suggested to benefit Orange County Land Trust’s mission.
• Pre-registration is required. Call 845-534-3690, ext. 18 or e-mail Jeremy@oclt.org to pre-register.
