MONROE-The Monroe Free Library, besides providing books, magazines and movies for children at all reading levels, also tries to create an attractive and comfortable environment for its youngest patrons. Cheerful interlocking pieces in all the colors of the rainbow are proving to be very popular with children visiting library. "Kids love to collapse on something soft and close to the floor," says Rebecca Lynn, head of Children's Services. "Our old animal beanbag chairs were beyond restoration. We think we've found an attractive alternative that is easier to clean and maintain." "We invite local kids to stop by the library at 44 Millpond Parkway and try out the new furniture, says Mrs. Lynn.
