Keene Publishing authors to appear at festival
Warwick Several authors from Keene Publishing of Warwick will appear at The Bethel Woods Harvest Wine Festival, Sundays ,from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., from Aug. 26 to Columbus Day. The festival features a farmers market, craft village, live performances, corn and hay mazes, pony rides and more. Each week offers a new theme or special event. The Keene authors will discuss and sign copies of their books. The schedule is as follows: On Sunday, Aug. 26, James Magee, author of “To Serve & Protect,” a suspense/thriller set in Goshen and Washington, DC. On Sunday, Sept. 2, “One Incredible Dog! Lady,” with her owner/trainer Kathy Miller and author Chris Williams. The One Incredible Dog! series consists of three children’s books about real-life service dogs and how they help people everyday. On Sunday, Sept. 9, “One Incredible Dog! Kizzy,” with his owner/trainer Judy Audevard. On Sunday, Sept. 16, Charmaine Gordon, author of “Once Again, Now, “a romance novel about coming of age later in life. On Sept. 23, Alan Lewis, author “I Grew Up On A Farm,” a children’s book, recently nominated for a Charlotte Award, about warm home life on a Middletown farm in the 1950’s. On Sunday, Sept. 30, Kathleen Kubik, author of “Neither Sand, Nor Sea,” a romance novel about friendships and discovering one’s own strengths and weaknesses.
