Join the Movement for 2008 Walk MS on May 18

Goshen — The National MS Society, (NMSS) Southern NY (SNY) Chapter and walkers from Orange County are gearing up to Join the Movement for the 2008 Walk MS at the Heritage Trail in Goshen on Sunday, May 18. Walkers will register and begin the Walk at the Berkshire Bank on South Church Street in Goshen. All participants over the age of 12 are encouraged to raise a minimum of $25 on or before the day of the event. Prizes are awarded on an individual basis to walkers turning in pledges of $100 or more. Check-in begins at 9 a.m. and the Walk begins at 10 a.m. Participants may choose either a five or three-mile route along the scenic Heritage Trail. The walk includes a stroll along a portion of the picturesque trail that winds along streams, meadows and a wildlife sanctuary. Following the walk, participants will enjoy a celebratory lunch. Walk MS supports the Southern New York Chapter that provides services to people with MS in Orange, Sullivan, Rockland, Putnam and Westchester counties.
