John Cafferty and The Beaver Brown Band will appear at The Castle Rink Stage on Friday, March 20 at 8:30 p.m. Organizers said Cafferty could simply be known as “The Man Who Made Eddie Cruise.” When the film “Eddie and the Cruisers” became a hit, Cafferty’s rendition of “Tender Years” (which had been in the band’s repertoire for years) and “On the Dark Side” flew to the top of the Billboard charts. Cafferty and the Beaver Brown Band bring both passion and hard-won perspective to their musical careers. The show is a collaborative effort between Castle owner Brian Leentjes and Bodles Opera House owner Pat Mazo. VIP tickets are $65 and include dinner, concert and VIP seating. General admission is $28 in advance; and $32 at the door. For more information, visit: www.thecastlefuncenter.com.
