Jazzy music series continues at Lycian on March 29

The Sugarloaf Music jazz series continues with two bands, including one from Warwick. The Stryker / Slagle Band, and tenor saxophone star Joe Lovano plus Warwick guitarist James Emery and The String Trio Of New York will appear Saturday, March 29 at 8 p.m. at the Lycian Centre, Kings Highway in Sugarloaf. Admission is $25. The Stryker / Slagle Band’s new CD “Latest Outlook” was voted one of the top CDs of 2007 by Jazz Times Magazine, The Star Ledger, and Jazz Improv Magazine.
