Institute to present string concert

SUGAR LOAF The Feigelson Institute for Strings will present a recital of its students at 3 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 17, at the Sugar Loaf United Methodist Church on Kings Highway in Sugar Loaf. The concert will feature youth of varying ages playing violin, cello and piano. The program will include classical and folk music favorites. The institute was founded in 1998 by Josef Feigelson, an internationally renowned musician, and his wife, Nadya Beauharnais-Feigelson, a noted teacher. They offer lessons in piano, violin, viola, cello, and bass from locations in Milford, Pa., and Sugar Loaf. Among their students are winners of local and state auditions and awards.
