Independence Day Parade on Windermere Avenue at 11 a.m.; fireworks at 9 p.m. at Thomas P. Morahan Waterfront Park.
West Point
West Point band’s “Music Under the Stars” concert; 7:30 p.m.; fireworks to follow at Trophy Point Amphitheatre; rain date, July 8.
Village of Woodbury
Fireworks at dusk at Monroe-Woodbury School District Ball Field.

Chester
Independence Day celebration includes live music, food vendors and bounce houses from 5 p.m. to 9:45 p.m. on Carpenter Field; fireworks begin 9 p.m.; rain date is Sunday, July 15

Orange County’s Freedom Fest Fireworks at Thomas Bull Memorial Park in Montgomery. Gates open at 4 p.m., fireworks begin at dusk. Food and drinks available for purchase or bring your own. No glass or bottles permitted.
