WARWICK-On Saturday, Oct. 8, the sidewalks of downtown Warwick will become a canvas for families to celebrate the season as part of the Warwick IBA's "Second Saturdays" promotion. Between 5 and 8 p.m., families are invited to visit participating downtown Warwick businesses to pick up chalk and start creating "Autumn Sidewalk Art." "The vitality of the Warwick economy depends upon the support of people who call Warwick home and we look forward to families transforming downtown sidewalks into a colorful celebration of autumn," said Warwick IBA co-founder Deborah Blomfield. "Second Saturdays" is a program developed by the Warwick Independent Business Alliance whereby most downtown Warwick businesses remain open until 8 p.m. on the second Saturday of each month.
