Hunting for eggs this Saturday in Warwick

Warwick - Youngsters of all ages will have three opportunities Saturday, March 22, to hunt for Easter eggs in Warwick: The Village of Warwick hosts its egg hunt beginning at 10 a.m. sharp in Stanley Deming Park. There will be three age groups: 4 years and under; 5-9 year olds; and 10-12 year olds. Admission is free and Village Recreation staff will provide bags. The Easter Bunny is expected to make an appearance. The annual Easter egg hunt at Pennings Farm Market, co-sponsored with the Warwick Fire Department, begins at noon. A best decorated Easter basket contest will be held just prior to the hunt at 11:30 a.m. Children will be divided into three age groups as they hunt for thousands of candies and chocolate eggs in the fields behind the market and leading up to the apple orchard. Pennings is located on the left of Route 94 South just past ShopRite Plaza as you travel from the Village of Warwick. The Warwick Valley Church of the Nazarene will hold its Easter celebration from 2 to 4 p.m. for all ages up to 10 (under 7 accompanied by adult).
