Humane society seeks items for yard sale

Warwick —The Warwick Humane Society, located at 48 Public Works Drive off Kings Highway in Warwick, will be having a yard sale on Labor Day weekend, Sept. 2 and 3, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., each day, rain or shine. The society is looking for donations of small furniture, small appliances, housewares, linens and other items. Bring donations to the animal shelter between noon and 4 p.m. daily until Aug. 27. Large furniture and appliances, computers, exercise or ski equipment, clothing and hardcover books will not be accepted. For more information call the shelter at 986-2473.
