Hudson Highlands museum presents Terrific Trees

Cornwall The Museum of the Hudson Highlands presents “Terrific Trees,” outdoors at the Museum’s Kenridge Farm location, Route 9W, Cornwall, at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 7 Trees are so colorful this time of year. The museum invites everyone to come take a close look at the New York State Tree, the Sugar Maple. Participants can do an experiment with Sugar Maple leaves to understand why leaves change color. They will also take a hike to enjoy the colors and do some basic tree identification and gather a few fallen leaves to make their own leaf ID booklet to take home. $5 for adults and children ages 5 and older.
