How to use native plants in landscaping

Cornwall — Anne Brooke will talk about the benefits of gardening with native plants at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 10, at Kenridge Farm, part of the Museum of the Hudson Highlands. Brooke owns Anne Brooke Designs, which specializes in landscape design and master planning. She will address problems in landscape architecture, land use and urban planning, engineering and surveying, and public art, with an emphasis on using native plants and treating water as a valuable commodity. This talk is part of the museum’s Evening Speakers Series. Kenridge Farm is located at Route 9W in Cornwall. Seating is limited, so participants are invited to come early.
