Hospital art exhibit features Warwick resident's art

The art of Warwick resident John Creagh will on display at Helen Hayes Hospital in West Haverstraw through March 31. Creagh is displaying a collection of his oil paintings, including landscapes from across the Hudson Valley and New England. In addition, the show features a range of still lifes, from sunflowers and peonies to local harvests of fruits and vegetables. Creagh has received widespread recognition for his work which he has exhibited at galleries throughout the metropolitan area. He studied at the Art Students League and received his master’s degree in fine arts from Lehman College of the City University of New York. In addition, he teaches at Westchester Community College Art Workshop in Peekskill and the Rockland Center for the Arts. The free exhibit, in the hospital’s atrium, is open to the public.
