Hospice to light ‘Tree of Life'

| 29 Sep 2011 | 10:16

Middletown — With the Holidays rapidly approaching, Hospice of Orange and Sullivan is preparing for our “Tree of Life” celebration. The Tree of Life is a special way to honor your loved ones at this festive and sentimental time of year. Contributions to the Tree of Life are made “in honor of” or “in memory of” a friend or loved one. That special person’s name will be placed on an ornament and displayed on one of the trees throughout the holiday season. “Trees” can be found in two locations; center court at the Galleria at Crystal Run, and the Garden Center at Adam’s Fairacre Farms, Newburgh. We invite you join us for the tree lighting ceremonies, featuring festive holiday music, at both locations. The tree lighting will take place at the Galleria on Friday Dec. 1, at 6:15 p.m., and at Adam’s Fairacre Farms, Newburgh on Saturday Dec. 9, at 12 p.m. Greeters are needed for the “Tree of Life” tables in Middletown and Newburgh. If you would like to volunteer to be part of this meaningful event please call Jessica at (845) 561-5362.
