WARWICK — On the evening Sunday, Dec. 10, at 7 p.m. will be a classical music concert at the Mulder Chapel at the Warwick Conference Center.
The Hudson Valley Performing Arts Foundation Chamber Music Series will kick off the 2017/18 season featuring Principal Trombone Joseph Alessi of the New York Philharmonic, Ralph Alessi on trumpet with the gifted vocals of Gianna Alessi along with world renowned pianist Lee Musiker and his trio.
Their program of both classical and jazz inspired favorites along with a wonderful selection of holiday classics is sure to put you and your family in the holiday spirit.
A very special feature in honor of the Village’s 150th anniversary will be the playing of a piece of dance music from 1906 entitled, “The Red Swan Two Step.”
The piece was composed by Alice M. Sayer and dedicated to then mayor and visionary, Clinton W. Wisner.
Pianist Lee Musiker will be giving us a glimpse into the musical style of a bygone era.
