The Holiday Pop-Up Artisan and Vintage Shop provides an actual experience for last minute shoppers, brought to life by the interaction between customer and artisan.
The pop-up shop comes to Warwick on Saturday, Dec. 15, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Pennings Farm Market, 161 Route 94S, Warwick, and Sunday, Dec. 16, and Saturday and Sunday. Dec. 22 and 23, from noon to 6 p.m. at Pennings Farm Cidery, 4 Warwick Turnpike.
The pop-up market falls somewhere between traditional brick-and-mortar shopping and online shopping due to the intimate setting.
Shoppers can meet the artisans and learn first-hand about their art and their creative process, making the act of gift giving more of an experience.
When a gift comes directly from the hands of local makers at pop-up shops such as the Holiday Pop-Up Artisan and Vintage Shop, it transforms from just a tangible object. There is a story that accompanies the art that gift givers can share with the recipient that gives life to the item.
